T Minus 8 Days…

The Official SimsFilmFest season is just 8 days away. Are you ready? I said, ARE YOU READY? 

Before we get into that I need to apologize a bit for the lack of website updates. I was doing so well, too. This is one of the reasons that we decided to go to once a year. My health is crap and I’ve made no secret about my health issues. It feels like winter beat the crap out of me with a steel chair. (That’s two wrestling references in one post, I need to stop.) This current fibromyalgia flare has pretty much put me down. There is no amount of pain medication or sleep to make me functional. Everything takes energy I don’t have and it sucks. This kind of thing happens and there isn’t much I can do to prevent it. Anyway, thanks for hanging in there with us during these times. 

Moving on.

March 1 starts the official SimsFilmFest season. If you’ve not started on your entry, now is the time to do it. The early entries we have for the festival this season look promising and we know that there are more wonderful machinimas out there for the festival.

We have only received one poster entry. Despite the deadline for them being past, we are going to extend the deadline out to the 24th. The poll we did said that the community wanted the poster contest back, so we brought it back. Now lets see what you got! You can find the poster requirements here.

Over the next week the site will be updated and if the stars align favorably, we’ll have a small magazine out, as we always do, with everything everyone needs to know for the festival.
