From the Director: Last Call

Hey there everyone! Hopefully the website will behave long enough for me to get this up. Just as I was finishing the updates things started acting up. Anyway, this is the sort of announcement type thing that I wanted to use the newsletter for. However, if people are not going to read it and/or unsubscribe…

Anyway…

The site is mostly updated. I still need to add voice actors and trailers to the playbill.  When the site starts behaving properly I will get that done. Please double check the playbill to make sure I didn’t miss anything. To everyone who hasn’t gotten their welcome email, my apologies. Your entries are on the playbill and we are looking forward to seeing your machinima projects.

I still have 9 people to get interview questions out to. Hopefully they will be out by the end of the weekend.

The gallery is now open for Red Carpet photos. Please upload your photos there. DO NOT email them.

LAST CALL FOR:

All of these MUST be in by 8:00pm EST

  • Entries
  • Machinima Posters – EMAIL THESE IN. Do NOT post them to the gallery.
  • Machinima Trailers – If you havent sent me your link for these, please do so.
  • Season 16 Judging – if you wish to be a judge for Season 16 I need to know by the end of the day.

Voting will open 10:00pm EST for posters and trailers.

The Sims International Film Festival was created in 2010 as a way to foster creativity in The Sims community through machinima, an art form that uses video game footage to make movies. Over the years, as new entries in The Sims franchise were released and new editing methods became available, we’ve seen a lot of changes, but one thing has remained constant: our commitment to showcasing the creativity of this community and inspiring new artists.
